In this section you will find practical strategies for coping with difficult circumstances. Some of these are – and will be – applicable only, or largely, to one kind of difficulty – e.g. cancer. But the emphasis is not on providing specific information about a disease or problem, since, in most cases, plenty of advice of this kind is available elsewhere, and I am not qualified to add to it. The focus here is on practical ways in which you might choose to address the distress caused by the situation in which you find yourself.
